The course is in collaboration with DUDS (Danish Ultrasonic Diagnostic Society) and
DAUS (Danish General Medical Ultrasound Society) and gives 12 CME points.
Time: February 28 – March 1, 2022
Place: Aarhus University Hospital (Skejby), Auditorium G206-145
Target group: Radiologists, rheumatologists, orthopaedic surgeons, general practitioners and possibly others with an interest in musculoskeletal disorders. No prior knowledge is required in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Content: General basic knowledge of musculoskeletal ultrasound, including anatomy, physics, technique, etc. Musculoskeletal injuries (overload injuries/physical injuries), rheumatology, soft tissue tumours, ultrasonicated intervention and Doppler.
Demonstration of investigative techniques (incl. ' ' Hands on ' ') and intervention methods (ultrasound-guided aspirations/injections).

Price: DKK 3,800. The price includes coffee and consumption during the meeting as well as the E-learning program (Time limited)
Course book: Textbook on Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography – for beginners and trained, written by the 3 course organizers serves as a course book (weight price DKK. 385), but is not a prerequisite for participation in the course. Students receive an E-learning program sent approx. 1 month before the course. It must be read before the start of the course and it takes approx. 8 hours to review.
