23. Course in musculoskeletal ultrasound

Place: Auditorium 1, HVIDOVRE Hospital.

Form: 3 Day Extra-night course with lectures, patient demonstrations and practical exercises.

Target group: Radiologists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists and other interested parties.

Content: basic physical principles. Technology and apparatus. Normal anatomy. Clinical applications including: shoulder, hip, knee, ankle/foot, elbow, wrist/hand, power Doppler, ultrasound-guided interventional procedures (biopsy, drainage, steroid injections).

The participants must carry out ultrasonic examinations of the musculoskeletal system themselves.


Accreditation: The course is recommended by: Danish Radiological Society (gives 18 CME-points)

European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR)

The course is awarded 18 CME points and corresponds to the Efsumb's Level 1 course (European Federation for Societies in Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology).

Course Fee: DKK 3,700, which includes lunch buffet and coffee. The course fee for members of the aforementioned companies approving the course, as well as associated Scandinavian companies, has been reduced to DKK 3,500.
