Form: 3 Day Extra-night course with lectures, patient demonstrations and practical exercises.
Target group: Radiologists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists and other interested parties.
Content: basic physical principles. Technology and apparatus. Normal anatomy. Clinical applications including: shoulder, hip, knee, ankle/foot, elbow, wrist/hand, power Doppler, ultrasound-guided interventional procedures (biopsy, drainage, steroid injections).
The participants must carry out ultrasonic examinations of the musculoskeletal system themselves.
Accreditation: The course is recommended by: Danish Radiological Society (gives 18 CME-points)
