The well-known basic course, as DUDS most radiologists and other clinicians who use ultrasound undergoes.
Organizer: Danish Ultralyddiagnostisk Company (DUDS).
Place: Herlev Hospital. Lectures take place at the Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES), room C3 at 25. hall and hands-on in the grand hallroom.
Price: 4,150 Kr., which includes lunch and coffee all 3 days and a Kursusbog pocket-sized "basics of Clinical Ultrasound".

Target group: Doctors and nurses/radio photographers who want to know about elementary ultralydfunktioner both theoretically and practically.
Content: Ultralydfysik, application of a ultralydskanner, choice of transducer, Doppler and contrast, introduction to ultralydskanning in the following areas: Abdomen (Gastro, agitation, Retroperitoneum), vascular (veins, arteries), mamma, GYN/Obs, scrotum, Intervention (biopsy, drainage and ablation), accumulations/Trauma (FAST), Anæstesiologisk/Thoracic (FATE), heart, musculoskeletal and throat. Plus 2 x 3 hours of practical exercises.
Course Form: Lectures and practical exercises (hands-on on scan models) with the possibility to try different ultralydskannere.
CME: The course is awarded 18 CME points and corresponds to EFSUMB ´ s Level 1 course.
